Where to order clothes online?

I don’t need clothes…I guess. I’m working right now, and just finished my fourth week…without wearing any duplicate clothes…at all. I think I need to purge!

I don’t order online…petite size…and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. I prefer to go in person.

Brands that fit me well…Loft, Banana Republic, Armani Exchange. My tops are from all over the place. I’ve found some great bargains at Marshall’s and TJ Maxx.

@MomofWildChild …hmmm…http://www.sfgate.com/news/article/California-based-LuLaRoe-hit-with-1-billion-12310464.php

@BunsenBurner yep. Maybe it was because it was a clearance item? Nonetheless I was not a happy camper. I get a lot of emails from them and they have really good sales. I was never a lord and Taylor shopper because we didn’t have them. Now that we’ve moved I will probably shop there more. I actually bought the shoes for my son’s wedding from there.

I prefer to try clothes on. I love the way some things look on the rack or on mannicans. And then on me? OMG, no way am I wearing this.

Part of the problem is inconsistent sizing. The other problem is what I think my body looks like, and what it really is! The two do not always mesh. On the hanger it looks great. On me it looks too tight, loose, short, long, etc. And it is a hassle returning stuff.

I use to buy clothes on QVC. Bought brand name clothing. I often got compliments on the clothes I bought from there. They have a large selection that fits petite, plus and regular.

My SIL loves Stitch Fix. She has liked everything they have chosen for her…and it all has fit well.

Similarly to that, Nordstrom runs Trunk Club:

Stuff is picked from Nordstrom’s vast inventory.

I’m familiar with the LuLaRoe lawsuit. I’m not a fan of multi-level marketing, but I sure like the clothes! I spend a lot of my legal practice dealing with ridiculous California lawsuits with little merit, so I’m not shocked at the LuLaRoe case. I don’t know any company doing business in California that doesn’t have a few class action cases against them.

Is this a California lawsuit? I read it to be a federal court case probably filed in California because that is where the company is based? They seem to have multiple lawsuits they are facing both on the pyramid scheme and quality based.

It’s filed in federal court in California, like many class actions.

I’ve also never been charged a restocking fee from Lord & Taylor but I generally return items in the store. FYI Ann Taylor has a 50% off sale. I’ve ordered and returned in store there also…

I tend to order from places that have brick and mortar places I can return to. I Oder a lot from Norspdstrom and the Rack, Lord and Taylor, Talbots, and sometime Macy’s. Athleta or Road Runner sports for workout stuff.

Yes, I tend to use places that have brick & mortar stores near me so I can check out the fabric and return as needed at those places. It has been very surprising to see the varying qualities of fabric from great to poor quality and everything in between at the various labels. I really prefer to purchase after I try on garments to avoid having to do returns, but it is not always possible or practical, so I do what works. I’m not buying many garments for myself these days anyway, as most things I’ve bought over the many years and decades still fit and look great.
