Under Education there is a Honor section that allows for up to 5 honors which are one shot occurrences. If you program consistently through the year on projects you can put that under activities. My oldest son did a lot of open source programming so he put it under activities averaging the hours he spent throughout the year (something like 2 or 3 hours a week).
