Where to put Summer Academy programs on Common App?

My daughter attended a summer academy program before her senior year of HS (free and not a camp - more like a week-long internship with a project deliverable at the end) She did receive 1 college credit for the week (not dual enrollment). Would this be appropriate to include in the activities section? She had a leadership role on the team where she went above and beyond for the project.

We’re getting conflicting info on whether it should go in the activities section since she got college credit but it was much more than a class. I know she can write more detail about in the “additional information” section but she really feels like it rounds out her interests and is related to her major. Curious what others think?

I would say it’s a good idea to put it in activities if there’s space, and I don’t think it’s a terrible idea to put it as a class, too. You should consult with maybe the school counselor for whether or not it counts as a class, but this sounds like a good extracurricular for sure.
