Where to send $10 question material?

Ok,

Let say I have non-essay material (like a video tape or a box of chocolate) for the $10 question.

What address should I send this to?

Is there a guide line for sending this kind of material (still looking for this info on JHU website.)

Oh also, how much more advantageous is ED than RD?

Wouldn’t you just send the non-essay materials with the rest of your app? Or it you’re submitting online, then to the address where apps can be sent in? Call and make sure

All application materials should be sent to:

Johns Hopkins University
Office of Undergraduate Admissions
140 Garland Hall
3400 N. Charles Street
Baltimore, MD 21218

Include your name and social security # on all materials you send in, so it is easier for Operations to put your complete file together.

And, there is no competitive advantage to applying to JHU ED - you should only do it if we are your first choice.

I am using the Common App Online.

Do I have to fill out JHU supplementary app online also?

If so, then, I guess I have to send the $10 material separately to the address above.

I am so overloaded with all this…I know MIT has its app online, and all the supplementary non-essay material should be sent to its address.

“And, there is no competitive advantage to applying to JHU ED - you should only do it if we are your first choice.”

Hmm…are you saying that ED has absolutely no advantage? I heard many people saying that ED is more advantageous (I just wanted to know how much).

JHU web says,

"Competitive Advantage?

… Your commitment to Hopkins as an Early Decision candidate is another important factor in our decision."

I interpreted that as Johns Hopkins give advantage to Early Decision.

Please correct me or leave any feed back. It is extremely crucial that I know this.

Yes, you do have to complete the JHU common app. supplement if applying with the common app. It is recommended you do the supplement online – and just mail your $10 essay and additional materials seperately.
