I have no academic counseling available so am unsure, and don’t know a lot about the procedure.

Go to the Financial Aid section of the website for each of these colleges. It will tell you what to do, what forms you need, and what the deadlines are.

Apples…you have a lengthy list of colleges. YOU should go to each website and check the finaid application requirements and the deadlines. I would suggest the YOU do this soon as some of the deadlines are probably approaching. Each finaid website should have a section for applying, including deadlines, forms and other information required. In the meantime, your family absolutely should begin to gather the information necessary to complete your 2007 income tax returns ASAP.

I suggest you make a speadsheet to keep track of it all. Every school has different deadlines and requirements and if you don’t keep track you will surely miss something. Also be careful when you are looking for deadlines that you don’t use the deadlines for current students, because they generally don’t need to have stuff in til several months after the new kids.
