I am more familiar with Georgetown University but if you’d like to stay somewhere in between the two campuses, take a look at Savoy Suites on Wisconsin Ave. The hotels right in Georgetown tend to be pricey. If you’d prefer to be closer to Georgetown University, try the Key Bridge Marriott, Holiday Inn or Le Meridien which are in Arlington, a 10-minute walk to campus over the Key Bridge and a 10-minute walk to the Rosslyn Metro station in the other direction.

There are trade-offs with renting a car. You have to pay for parking at most hotels and it can be a bit daunting to drive around Georgetown and DC if you’re not used to it. Taking cabs and walking will give you more flexibility and offer you a taste of what it’s like to live in the area. The Georgetown neighborhood is very busy and vibrant, filled with stores and restaurants. Enjoy your trip.
