Where to take RHE 306

Im a ChemE major and I was just wondering if it would be worth it to take RHE 306 at UT during the spring instead at ACC during the summer.

Ideally you should take as many non-science credits outside of UT as possible. The credits are simply formalities and most don’t place much value on them so there’s not much reason to take the credit at UT where it’s harder (keep that GPA up!) and more expensive.

You can get credit for RHE 306 from an SAT CR score of 650 of higher (might have even been 600 or higher).

I would second ImOnOne’s suggestion to take the SAT CR score for credit. However, you may consider taking the writing course as well because it’s one of the few courses you can take that will really help you in life, especially since it will help improve your writing and introduce you as to how to write a paper with proper citations and formatting. As for whether to take the class at UT or ACC, I would recommend ACC as most of the sections of RHE 306 are taught by TAs.
