where to transfer...need your advice please

<p>Would anyone be able to recommend a college in either New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, or Maryland ect. that has some of the following:
~ Many majors to choose from
~ Activities on Campus
~ A school where people do not go home on the weekends
~ School Spirit (sports)
~ around 6,000 undergrads to 10,000 undergrads (flexible)
~ proximity to a city, it doesn’t have to be as big as NYC…</p>

<p>I am a freshmen at a small liberal arts school in Virginia, an hour south of DC. I am seriously thinking about transferring for fall 2010. It is upsetting since I did apply to 15 schools in my senior year of High School. So now I have to start over and I am just looking for suggestions and/or advice.</p>

<p>what are your stats? we can’t recommend anything if we don’t know how competitive of a school you’re looking for.</p>
