where to transfer to?

I’m a freshman at Cornell engineering - sadly the place is not working out well for me and i am hoping to get a transfer into colleges (less remote perhaps?) offering civil engineering + concentration/minor in architecture.

so far i have thought about northwestern - was previously admitted and it seems like a nice place to stay in. probably not the best engineering program(?) but it offers a concentration in architecture so it seems pretty appealing to me.

Oh, and some bg info about me: international student, fall semester gpa 3.87, strong ECA in high school but nothing at cornell, great SAT2 and 1(maths) scores but mediocre verbal and CR scores

suggestions greatly appreciated!

You might conisder USC (University of Southern California). Strong engineering school, and great architecture school, and either the first or second largest school in terms of international students in the country (I don’t know if they or NYU have more international students.)
