Where will bad GPA & great test scores get me in?

SAT Subject Tests: Chemistry 800, Math 2 800, US History 760.</p>

<p>AP Tests: Chemistry 5, Gov&Politics 4, US History 4, English Lang 5, Environment Sci 5, Calculus BC 5, Physics C-Electricity 4, Physics C-Mechanic 5. </p>

<p>Honors: National Merit Semifinalist 12, National AP Scholar 11, National Sci Oly: 16th Place Food Science & 24th Chem Lab 11, Governor’s School in Science (one of 300 in state chosen for all expense paid 5 weeks at U of TN earned 2 A’s in Abstract Math and Logic of Science) 11, First Place in State AMC 10A 10, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Trip (one of 12 Nashville students chosen for all expense paid 5 day visit at MIT 9. First Place School Research Paper on Embryonic Stem Cell Research 10, State High School Chess Champion and thus winner of four year scholarship to TN Tech 10.</p>

Grateful for any thoughts out there.</p>

<p>Cornell, maybe? They look more into scores than GPA. A guy from my school last year got accepted with 3.8 and a 2200.</p>

<p>I think the tech schools don’t mind the lower GPA, as long as the math and science grades and test scores are very high: MIT, Cal Tech, RPI.</p>
