Where will I get in?

<p>I’m going into my sophomore year of high school and really want to be a doctor, an orthopedic surgeon to be exact. But I am nervous about getting in to a good pre-med program, I want to go to Duke, so could you tell me about what my chances are? Keep in mind these are only my grade and EC’s from freshman year.</p>

<p>English 1 Honors: 97
Geometry Honors: 98
Earth Science: 100
Biology Honors: 99
World History Honors: 99
PE/Health: 100
Symphonic Band: 97
Marching Band: 98</p>

<p>I am ranked number one out of my class of 220 and participate in the following EC’s:</p>

<p>Cross Country, HOSA, FCA, Band, Volunteering, Theatre, Teens with a Purpose (A small club in our community run by teenagers who are determined to make a differene in the world), and finally I race (I run stock cars at a local track and am currently third in points, and only 14 years old) </p>

<p>I was just wondering because I don’t reall believe my EC’s are up good enough to make me stand out…</p>
