Already posted in your UCLA chance thread, but you need to first find out how much your parents are willing to pay for college. Affordability will determine which schools to consider and from there you can look at the best “fit” schools. Make sure you have a safety school in mind. One that is affordable and you are willing to attend to matter what happens next year during the admissions process.

What is your Home State? Start with your local in-state schools which usually offer the best FA if needed. You can also check the Financial Aid & Scholarship threads for schools that will give guaranteed merit aid based on your academic stats.

PA and i think they’ll pay a good amount if i can get some scholarship aid
@Gumbymom

I’m also a Junior, I see that you are
In a investment/stocks club and I was thinking about creating that at my school, can you tell me more about how your school does that

@1zogden1 basically we create our own investment group on investopedia and also we participate in competitions with other schools. additionally, we have prizes for winners in our school. also we have teachers come in and tell us about their investments/bonds/stocks. it’s really fun and you should consider making one

How did you incorporate different schools

u participate in online comps that include hundreds of other schools @1zogden1

where’s your school?

New York Capital Region

@1zogden1 you should try ithaca’s investment competition. obviously ithaca is in NY. participating teams are eligible to go visit the campus and stuff like that
