Where you went to school matters when it comes to credit

Upstart.com:

Their rates are from 4.66-29.99%. Maybe college ranking should take this into consideration, or Upstart is using college ranking to determine their rates.

The webpage is extremely slow and keeps giving me error messages. shrug

“Their rates are from 4.66-29.99%.” - What these rates represent?

One note, it doesn’t say where you went to school, it said your education and experience. I assume education in this means what kind of degrees, not whether you went to Harvard or Normal U.

It asks for your college- for undergrad and grad if applicable. I was able to get in finally and the rates weren’t any better than I can get at my credit union despite getting a PhD at a top 3 program. Maybe it’s because it’s in History lol.
