Where's my second confirmation?

<p>I read from another thread that many of you have got your second confirmations. But I haven’t. I called admissions last week, asking whether they’ve received my teacher recs, but they refused to look up my file, saying that they would notify me if anything was missing.</p>

<p>I doubt they will do that. If they did, the notification would probably arrive too late to do anything about. It seems they are so slow on their filings. Unlike most other Ivies, Princeton doesn’t have an online application tracking system, even on its long-due renovated website. Although Yale, like Princeton, lacks an online tracking system, its second confirmation came months ago. I hope the quality of its admissions office doesn’t reflect the quality of its education, particularly computer science, which, given its US News Ranking, could have easily created this application tracking system.</p>

<p>Enough ranting. :slight_smile: So, who haven’t got their second confirmations like me? Or am I alone here?</p>

<p>hehe. Stop worrying geniezclone! I remember this exact same situation from the ED round - many of us didn’t even get the second confirmation, and we still got in. I think they rush the second confirmation to students whose applications are incomplete, as they are the ones who need to send their stuff in quick.</p>

<p>If you haven’t received one, it’s probably a good thing. I never got one (which means that my app was complete). So there ya go :)</p>
