Wheres the coffee?

In our area, Starbucks has free (small sized) coffee (iced in the summer) on Wednesdays!

Kelslmom, *all *the coffee I pour here is fair trade, and cheaper 'n Starbucks!

scualum–so THAT’s what that button is for!
Owlice, are you around?

I’m here! I’m here! With iced coffee, even! Decaf and regular.

And, because we’ve had dinner already, coffee ice cream, too!

:: scoops ice cream ::

:: puts out ice cream toppings ::

We have hot fudge, a thick vanilla syrup, sprinkles of all kinds (we calls 'em “jimmies” in these here parts), and mini chocolate chips. Also whipped cream, wet and dry nuts (no jokes, please!), and cherries.

Enjoy!

And did I mention the espresso chocolate chunk brownies?

Ooo, nothing beats coffee ice cream and hot fudge!

Except possibly coffee ice cream with mini chocolate chip mix-ins and hot fudge! :)

All is well with the world…I would love some espresso chocolate chunk brownies, please. Do you think it’s time for me to break out the Kahlua?

:: opens the Kahlua for Kathyc ::

:: hands her the plate of espresso chocolate chunk brownies ::

There ya go!!

We also have Bailey’s, for those who would like that either in their coffee or on their ice cream.

I don’t like coffee, but I’ll eat any kind of ice cream. And a brownie. MMMMmmmm. Thanks!

I believe the name for Kahlua and coffee is Keoke coffee? Of course, Bailey’s and coffee also works. Reminds me of a LONG night I spent in grad school after having MANY Irish coffees at the old Cliff House in San Francisco…I think I heard every freight train between San Jose and San Francisco!

You’re welcome! I have regular brownies, too, if you prefer those.

And M&Ms! The check out staff at our local grocery store refer to H as “Mr. M&M.” He likes the peanut ones.

Oh, and here I was thinking you wanted to put the Kahlua on your ice cream, Kathyc!!!

I’ll take one of every kind of brownie you have. :)

Kahlua ON the ice cream works too, thank you.

I’m afraid to get started with M&M’s–I had an old boss who kept a big jar of Peanut M&M’s in his office and they got very tempting on Saturday afternoons after a long week.

:: hands Kathyc a large bag of peanut M&Ms ::

:: takes the Kahlua and runs! ::

Enjoy the Kahlua!

I’ll put Peet’s Anniversary Blend (courtesy of my D for Mother’s Day) in the coffee-maker for tomorrow morning, but you early risers on the East Coast are going to have to start it. My other options are hazelnut or pinon (another day, perhaps).

Let’s start a poll–favorite coffee blend:
My favorite was the Mocha Java the little shop in our building used to have, followed closely by Starbucks’ Holiday Blend.

Others?

A discussion about coffee? Count me in! I’m with Kathyc – love Starbucks Christmas/Holiday Blend.

Love Deans Beans “Full Moon” (fair trade, organic, shade grown, and delicious.)

Plus, Dean was an extra in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and all us customers got regular emails about it.:)

I also like Dunkin Donuts.

I avoid Starbucks at all costs (cost being the operative word ;))
