Which approved lender should I choose?

I’m in the process of confirming my financial aid stuff right now and the school requires me to choose a lender for my staffard loan. Which would be the best lender to choose??

[UCSD Preferred Lenders]
1). ALL Student Loan
2). College Loan Corporation
3). Wachovia Education Finance

[Other Approved Lenders]
4). AMS, a Sallie Mae Company
5). Bank of America
6). Citibank
7). Northstar/T.H.E.
8). Student Capital Corporation
9). Wells Fargo

put # 1-9 in a hat and make a draw…

I went with Wachovia. It seemed like the best one.

For sure, pick one of the top three, since they are the ones UCSD says provides the best service. And look at that chart they link you to to compare the benefits of each.

If I remember correctly, #2 has an origination fee, so that one was out, and then Wachovia just has more and better benefits.

That was my thinking anyway. Definitely don’t pick a lender blindly. >:0
