The thread speaks for itself. I’m willing to apply at community colleges in California which offer Arabic majors. I found some community colleges which have good transfer rates to other better colleges like UCLA and UC Berkeley, but I’m not sure if these community colleges offer Arabic. I am in need of a list of CA community colleges that offer Arabic. Please reply as soon as possible. Your help will be really appreciated.

Thank you

Wow, that was fast. Thanks for the links. I’m looking them up right now. I was thinking about applying at these community colleges: Santa Monica College, Pasadena City College, Diablo Valley College, De Anza College, Orange Coast College and East Los Angeles College. Do you think I might have a better chance of transferring to a good UC in my sophomore year from these? Moreover, do all of these offer Arabic?

Thanks again

I don’t know about Arabic, but I think you have to transfer to UC’s with Junior standing. I did a quick search for Arabic majors and only saw two, and one was UCLA. .CSU LB middle eastern studies. Not sure if that is related.

I see. Well, thank you for your effort.

I know this is off topic, but are there any community colleges in CA which don’t require any application fees? I’m an American citizen living in Bangladesh, by the way.

Cool. Thanks again.

I also have this question. I tried those two links and they were showing up “unavailable.” So I used the searches on the cccapply website that I COULD access, and did not find any way to search for “Arabic”. Ahmed315, did you find the answer to your question, and if you did, can you share it?
