Which class year do summer ECs fall?

<p>When writing up your ECs how are they listed? If you did xyz the summer between your freshman and sophomore high school years, do you count them for your freshman year or your sophomore year?</p>

<p>Granted, you’ve moved up to the next grade level but many summer activities/awards/honors are based upon the previous school year’s accomplishments.</p>

<p>I believe it would be counted for the freshman year like a summer class would.</p>
