Which clubs to join?

I am really interested in going into finance in the future and noticed that there are a lot of finance clubs at Cornell. For example, there is a consulting club and consulting group. Can somebody tell me what clubs they’re in and what truly differentiates them from the others? Thanks.

@patel236 There are tons of clubs in these areas. In the consulting realm there are many options: Cornell Consulting Club (CCC), Cornell Consulting Group (CCG), Cornell Strategic Consulting (CSC), Social Business Consulting (SBC), among others. I am in CSC and where we differentiate from the other consulting clubs is that we primarily work with Ithaca-area startups. We have a “boutique consulting firm” feel. We take on clients who truly rely on our pro-bono deliverables because they may not be able to afford an outside firm that charges for services. Hope to see you when we start recruiting for the upcoming semester.

There are also various finance clubs at Cornell, which I haven’t pursued yet but hope to soon.

“Clubfest” is something you will want to attend (typically the first week of classes), something outside of finance may also pique your interest
