Which college do I have the best shot at for getting in RD??

For some reason, I felt compelled to respond despite not being an expert on those colleges…

You can read here for someone with applying to UVA with similar stats: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-virginia/8829-out-stater-chances-uva.html</a> The general consensus was that his SAT was low (equivalent of a 31 ACT) for out of state, making him a reach. If you follow his posts, he was rejected from UVA and went to Pitt. Since you have a lower ACT, you can take that for what it’s worth.

I’m not sure about UNC - I know it’s a relatively easy admit in-state, but a difficult one out of state, which makes it difficult to judge based on the posted averages.

Looking at W&M and Wake, you should be fine for both of those schools. You’re in the inter-quartile range on ACT and above average on SAT. With good EC’s, essays, and interviews, you have a good shot at those schools.

Thanks for the reply!!!

I completely agree with G.P.

Schools like UVa and UNC are SO competitive OOS it’s ridiculous but I say you have a decent shot. Someone’s gotta make it right?

Best of luck!
