Which college: Mills vs USF vs Union

I’m between Mills College, University of San Francisco, and Union College. I’m hoping to major in English and can’t decide which school would work best with my aspirations. Any info would be much appreciated (about prestige, departments, social life, etc)

By far, Union has the most academically prepared students among your choices. The size of the school is conducive to undergraduate study. Most of their students (87%) live on campus. Fraternity/sorority membership is relatively high. The closest of your choices to being gender-balanced.

English is a popular major at Mills, and appears to be one of the college’s stronger programs. At 875 students, expect their range of academic options to be narrower than otherwise comparable schools.

USF may have somewhat of a preprofessional orientation that might not match your interests, though this is hard to know with any certainty without first-hand experience. Their students have some statistical similarities to those at Mills.
