Besides that I have no idea. I visited UCLA and UCSB (I live in LA as some already guessed).

I want a prestigious school that has an intellectual tone (Im a philosophy major :-)) but one with strong campus life (binge drinking and reefer madness a plus).

Any suggestions people?

Please help this confused soul.

"
Well, HMC may not have the philosophy major on campus (you can major in it at one of the other 5C's) but we definitely do have the intellectual atmosphere and the drinking...

if i attend harvey mudd for engineering can i still attend another one of the claremont colleges concurrently for a second philosophy major?

you'd only attend harvey mudd. hmc is its own complete school. you can, however, have an "off-campus" major at one of the other colleges, such as pomona college.

yes. you can double major. it is not easy, especially with engineering.
