Which college schedule would you choose?

I realize that everyone is different, but if you were in my shoes which would you choose?

OPTION 1:

Monday, Wednesday
9:00-9:50
11:00-11:50
12:00-1:15
2-3:15

Tuesday, Thursday
9:30-10:45

Friday
9:00-9:50
11:00-11:50

(One online class)

OPTION 2:

Monday, Wednesday
12:00-1:15
2-3:15

Tuesday, Thursday
9:30-10:45
3:30-4:45

Friday
No school

(Two online classes)

OVERVIEW:
Option 1 Pro: No 5 hour gap on Tuesday & Thursday (option 2 has gap)
Option 1 Con: 1st class at 9 am, school on Fridays
Option 2 Pro: First class on MW is at 12:00 (as opposed to 9am), no school on Fridays
Option 2 Con: 5 hour gap on Tuesday, Thursday (and I’m a commuter, 20-25mins to get to school)

Which one would you choose if you were in my shoes?

Please keep in mind that both options have 18 hours of coursework (which isn’t going to change). So it’s not about how many hours I should take; it’s just about which schedule you were choose if you were in my shoes. *Note: I know a schedule should be fitted to me personally, but I’d like to know other opinions.

I’d choose option 2, without a doubt. Later start times, three day weekends, and the large Tues/Thurs gap means that there’s plenty of time to do something else during that time. Go to the gym, schedule a work shift, study, hang out with friends. That’s even enough time to go home and come back, if you wanted to.

I’d go for Option 2 as well. It looks like you would have more time to study, etc. like baktrax said.

Yes, option 2 for reasons above.

Option 1 is a waste of a commute on days, plus you’re doing it more often!

Since you’re a communter, Option 2. Just make sure you can stay on top of those online classes! It’s easy to fall behind, believe me.

I would chose the 1st option because I hate online classes and I seriously can’t learn from them

Option 2 if a commuter…It’s less gas. And you can spend the 5 hours on campus in the library or with friends…

Option 2 handsdown.

Four classes in one day sucks.

Option 2, I wouldn’t be able to stand having such a lopsided schedule.

I would make it so I wake up at the same time every day though.

Option 2 because on Option 1 on MWF, you didn’t schedule yourself lunch time :P

I’d lean towards option 1. Eighteen credit hours is a full schedule either way. It is very easy to kid yourself that 2 online courses necessarily mean less work. In my experience online courses can be graded more harshly because there are no brownie/partcipation points. You can also easily fall behind because you take it for granted.

Of course, if you are a VERY disciplined student the easier commute of option 2 makes it the obvious choice.

I’d lean towards option 1 because I know that I’m more motivated for in-person classes. But if you know that you’re comfortable with online classes, it sounds like it might make more sense since you’re commuting.

Option 2.

As a commuter with a very long drive too, I totally feel that option 2 is also best for gas. The gap would also be a great time to do work especially for the two online classes, nap, eat, whatever.
