I got into Rice, Bowdoin, Haverford, and Pomona. I’m studying biology, and think I might go pre-med, so which one has the highest medical school acceptance rate?

Also, I would like to know about career placement and social life at these schools too.

I do want to go there, but I want to research all of my options thoroughly before I send in a deposit. If I could, I would probably go to all of these colleges, since they’re all good.

Rice sends 12% of its students to med school, Pomona 9%. Don’t know about Bowdoin and Haverford. I’m not sure if graduate paths really say much about how good the biology programs of these schools are, but you asked for it. Honestly, all four are all-round good schools and I’m sure that whichever one you go to you will have a good shot at getting into med school.

From what I know, they all seem about equal difficulty/prestige. It should come down to fit, or $ if you’re in need. Where do you want to live? Pomona is one of the Claremont colleges, so it’s a small community that’s nearby 4 other good small schools. Plus it’s in SoCal, if you like that. I’ve heard Bowdoin is somewhat hard to travel to up in remote Maine. Rice is in Texas…that in itself sounds sketch. Haverford…no idea.
