<p>Hello! I live in the Detroit suburbs and I’m going to college next year to study broadcast journalism. I’ve gotten accepted to the University of Missouri, University of Illinois, Columbia College Chicago, and I got deferred from the University of Michigan. I’m also waiting to hear back from Syracuse University. I fell in love with Missouri and I know it has an amazing J-school, but I hate the distance. I’ve always loved Chicago and dreamed of studying there so I’ve been thinking about studying at DePaul University. How does DePaul rank for a broadcast journalism major along side other schools?</p>
<p>Frankly, it’s not in the same league. Missouri and Syracuse in particular will give you training that’s respected in radio and TV nationwide, and a leg up in terms of job opportunities once you graduate.</p>
