I applied early everywhere and got into Hofstra, temple, chapman, seton hall, american, suffolk, george mason, and saint josephs

–money isn’t really an issue…im just confused on where i should go…american was always my first choice but now i like all of them equally

btw…i want to double major in psychology/ and or journalism or communications/public relations…
i seriously have no clue which to pick

Isn’t American binding ED?

Regardless, I think the opportunities there outweigh your other schools…except, maybe, for Chapman if film is your passion…

no…i definitely want to major in psychology and jornalism/communications…the only thing that scares me about american is that i won’t be smart enough or that i will get lost in the crowd…im not a smart person i just worked reallly hard in high school to get into these schools

I think you misunderstand American’s admission policies; if you have already heard from them, you applied with a binding ED application

[Early Decision Plan, American University, Washington, DC](<a href=“http://www.american.edu/admissions/freshman/earlydecision.cfm]Early ”>Early Decision Plan, American University, Washington, DC | American University, Washington, DC )

If you applied test optional ED, your decision is also binding…

If you applied RD ( which is the only deadline not binding), you will not hear until later in the cycle…

Let me know what I am not getting here…

Perhaps they applied test-optional regular decision to American?

If so, the deadline was November 1st, accounting for hearing back so early.

EDIT: Never mind, if regular, they would have heard back by April 1st…

it is binding…i gt in early i guess ill go there.

Why did you apply to the other schools if you applied ED to American? Were they all rolling?

If the school accepted you, they do believe you will be successful in the institution… Don’t worry, you should have confidence in yourself.

thanks artlover. and cricket i applied to other schools in case i didn’t get into american…b/c i didnt think that i actually had a chance…but surprise i somehow got in
