<p>Not the dust is settled, what is the main factor when deciding which college to go? Location, financial support, or ranking?</p>
<p>For a large percentage of people, it comes down to affordability based on actual net price after applying actual financial aid and scholarship offers. Presumably, the schools have been screened by availability of academic programs and such when the student made the application list (although students who made their application lists poorly may have gotten shut out, or found that many of their schools are not affordable or not academically suitable).</p>
