Which College?

I’m looking to either major in general mathematics or economics or both, and I was wondering which of the following colleges would be best for that.
New York University
University of Michigan
Johns Hopkins University
Carnegie Mellon University
Boston University
Also if you could rank them on difficulty of getting in and on the quality of their education in my majors. Thanks!

As far as difficulty of getting in, here are PrincetonReview.com’s ratings on their 60-99 selectivity scale:

New York University 96
University of Michigan 96
Johns Hopkins University 98
Carnegie Mellon University 97
Boston University 94

I don’t think anyone could give you good info on quality of education in those majors. First of all, I’m not sure anyone could define what that quality should consist of, and if they could, no one’s studied at all these schools.
