Which colleges is best to transfer from?

Hi, I got into
Rensslaer Polytech (rpi)
Boston U
Northeastern
Penn State U Park

I didn’t get into NYU but I’m trying to transfer ASAP (probably fall 2011, spring 2011 if possible idk much about transferring yet). Which school do you think would be best for me to have a high GPA and be involved with extracurriculars and that stuff so that I could have a good shot in Transfering to NYU CAS (Chemistry)?

I come from a great highschool and I’m going to retake tests if thats necessary.

rpi has grade deflation so your gpa might not be high if you go there. i say boston university is your best choice.

^ what?! bu is known for horrible grade deflation. bad advice.

penn state if youre in-state would be a good choice

Got to NYU-Poly in two years its the engineering school for nyu. They have great programs now with NYU and you should have a better chance to transfer into CAS or where ever you choose. However I must warn you, if you’re not into math or science you won’t survive at this rigorous engineering school…

Look at the links below:

(look for Polytechnic Institute of NYU on this website)

I got into BU and PSU and wanted to pick one to transfer from too.
I figured PSU because it was state and public and matching my classes to the school im transferring to would probably be easier, since i want to transfer to a state school.
I turned down a full ride to BU, but i thought it would be harder to transfer out of private, although im not sure, its just what i figured.
PennState seems like it would be more fun to party for 2 years, then go wok harder at NYU.
But as far as the others, im not sure
