<p>I know Yale offers on-campus summer interviews. Are there any other colleges that you guys know of that have summer interviews, whether on or off campus?</p>
<p>And are they done by alumni or current students, usually?</p>
<p>Also, how much weight does a summer interview have? It’s generally neutral or positive for your app, right? (unless you really do something horrible)</p>
<p>Can anybody answer his question about “generally neutral or positive” impact?</p>
<p>Alumni interviews have very little impact on admissions. They might have a slightly positive effect if you are amazing, and they might have a negative effect if you are blatantly bad (I’m talking rude/disrespectful, not nervous).</p>
<p>I would assume that the same is true for summer interviews, even if they are done on-campus (Yale’s on-campus interviews are done by Yale seniors).</p>
<p>Thanks for your input. Do you know of any other schools that do summer interviews?
I’m just trying to figure out what I should be doing this summer other than the summer classes+internship/research I’m doing, visiting colleges, doing research on them, and writing my essays.
What do you wish you did the summer before Senior Year that you did not do?</p>
