Not sure what your mean. But in the first 2 years, you will take Calc1-Calc4 (Math115, 116, 215, 216), a couple Chemistry and Physics classes, Engr100 and 101, as well as general electives. Then you will take some other engineering and major required courses.

Look at the following sample schedules:
http://www.engin.umich.edu/aero/academics/undergrad/program/requirements
http://www.engin.umich.edu/college/academics/bulletin/depts/me/me-sample-sch-2013-14/

Here below are the courses available from these 2 majors:

I think he means “what course” in the sense of course of study, i.e. the non-American phraseology for major.

I see. LOL. but I don’t see how answer to this question may help OP. Each person would have different preference. Both are great programs at UMich.

Probably just a poll for entertainment in the midst of application season… I can certainly remember those days!

@Finnlet could you chance me for umich based on my recommendations thread? Please!!!

Could someone tell me which is the best major of umich?

There are majors with higher ranking, but it does not make it a better major for you. All engineering program at UMich are great. Most of them are among top 10 in the country and all are within top 15. While number 1 in major A does not mean it is better than number 5 in major B as you cannot compare apple to orange.

OK thanks @billcsho
