Which degrees/majors do you feel are the "easiest" @ Fordham?

This is PURELY subjective. I know that no degree @ Fordham is truly “easy”…but I’m talking about perspective. If you were to call it…which degree do you feel is an easy in-out-4-year-wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am type of degree? lol ;)

My ideas…English…Liberal Studies…Dance (duh)…etc.

What about you?

Haha…loaded question. No simple answer and if anyone suggest there is, then they are full of pinto beans.

I don’t know anything substantive about FCLS. I know the theatre program is highly competitive. Fordham has many departments that are notable and not the least bit “easy”: english, philosophy, history, economics (IPE). You will get varying degrees of commentary about CBA depending on who you talk to.

The bottom line is that to attain any degree at Fordham and graduate with any level of honors above 3.5 you have to work like a dog, cross your fingers for luck, and pray you don’t get some professor who has it in for your style of writing. Some people will perceive the non-science or non-mathematics track as easy and they are wrong.

I don’t “techniquelly” attend fordham yet, but I do happen to know because I just asked a question about FCLS, that College of Liberal Studies does not mean your majoring in “Liberal Studies”. College of liberal studies offers the same degree programs, just in night and weekend classes, (basically what im trying to say is that you declare a major, like a normal program). FCLS uses many of the same professors as the traditional program.

it’s kind of hard to answer that question. and that’s at any school really i think. the reason is that mostly you’ll be doing your own major. you’ll never know the kind of work other majors have to go through unless you go through it yourself. with that said, i’m in cba and if i had to guess, i’d say marketing maybe? accounting and finance are pretty tough. information systems is small, but the professors give a lot of projects…a lot.

Within CBA, many students feel that Fordham College has brought that down the university in rankings (which comes from the fact that CBA outranks all the other undergrad schools). Then you have Fordham College students who call CBA the Coloring Book Academy because of how ‘easy’ our courses are, and how everything is basically made easier for us. I have to admit though that as far as the Business core classes go, some of the CBA professors are a complete joke.
