Which dorms to avoid ?

I have read and seen that most dorms @ USF are nice, but can you
suggest which dorms a freshman should avoid and why ? Thanks

All of USF’s dorms are okay in my opinion. You may have noticed the following message from the USF housing director on the USF housing website:

"Although you have several floor plan options from which to choose, you will find that it is not the architecture of the building that makes your experience here at USF, it is the dynamic personality of the residents who reside in each hall, your RA, the dining staff, and even the maintenance crew who will build the community that truly make USF your home.

The rooms may be small, but the rewards are great! We look forward to having you in our community and experiencing USF as a TRUE BULL!"

I think he is right, and any USFdorm can work just fine for most USF students.

If I had to name the dorms less desirable though, I’d say the older suite-style dorms located in Andros area with the Greek letter names. They’re ok, but they are the oldest USF dorms and are a little bit of a walk to classrooms, library, athletic complex, etc. There is a convenient dining hall nearby to them though, and an outdoor swimming pool too.
