Which Engineering Speciality Takes Care of Premed Requirements?

Hi,

I was wondering if there was any form of engineering that will already take care of a lot of premed requirements besides BME (because I think its boring). By this I mean chemical engineers are required to take Organic Chem (I think…) and normal chemistry which are prereqs for med/dental school. So what other forms of engineering do this as well. The reason I ask is because I don’t want to take a whole bunch of classes for eng. on top of premed requirements.

In fact, a better way to phrase this is what form of engineering is easiest for premed besides BME?

all engineering majors are hard…but chemical engineering would fall after bme but it’s extremely hard…which is why most people drop out before graduating in that major…

yea, i think chem eng. is the only other one besides bme that would have a fair amount of overlap w/ premed requirements…

At my school chemical engineering took out the physics, chemistry, and math requirements. I was actually thinking of declaring that as my major until I saw the 4 year course layout and found out I’d be taking an average of 17/18 credits each semester with some challenging classes. Also I couldn’t find a way to fit any classes I wanted to take because the engineering class schedule left no room for it.
