Which essay are you doing?

I am going to do the one with a quote of my choice.

Me too. Easiest one for me personally.

what quotes are you guys using?
i’m between 3…

I’m using the first one, since we had to write about a significant experience last year in my English class and I wrote about a person. Yay for recycling essays!

so i have this essay topic in mind.and i have a quote that says the exact opposite of what my message is… but its a powerful quote. would it be weird if i started with the quote- but said that why i disagree with it?

I did the nation’s service one, mostly because I couldn’t find the quote i wanted to use in either an essay or book. It seemed to be a pretty difficult prompt, so I doubt that many people chose to do that one.

Well if I end up applying, I’ll probably try to find a quote that fits with an essay that I’ve already written

I did choice #4 (quote of your choice).

I ended up using the SAME EXACT ESSAY for H, Y, and P. Ridiculously good fortune on my part, since I had resigned myself to having to write a completely new essay for Princeton until I found a quote that went perfectly with my H/Y essay at the last minute.
