Which essay should I submit to Common App?

Hi can you guys help me pick which one I should use for common app? Both of these are already written and both answer identity prompt. I don’t want to post here, but based on the general topic, what’s a more standout essay?

Essay 1- time I saved a man $40 while I was volunteering at a retirement center moves into my compassion for the elderly

Essay 2- written in short clips/snapshots of time style shows my immigration and what studying in America means to me

It’s not really about the topic itself, but more so with how you deliver yourself in the essay. Just go with your gut instinct!

I would go with the second one. Although it is all about how you write it, I still think the second topic is more original and will make the admissions counselors remember you more so than the first one would.
