<p>I’m submitting my essay online today, but I’m not sure which essay I should use. I have essays done for two of their choices (What has been your most profound or surprising intellectual experience and personal essay for another purpose). I’ll choose one for the common app I’m submitting to Duke.</p>
<p>Duke says to limit the essay to two double spaced pages. (Common app asks for 500 words, but more fits). My intellectual experience essay is 500 words or a little less than a page and a half double spaced. The personal essay is around 800 and is two double spaced pages. I wrote it for UChicago (where I got in EA, so I guess it’s pretty good).</p>
<p>I don’t know which essay is better. Does anyone have any general comments? Anyone willing to read the essays and help me decide?</p>
