Which essay should I write?

Hello! So, for one selective university I’m applying to the essay prompt is a very vague “write about anything.” I have several ideas, but I need help with choosing a topic. Assuming that I could write a pretty good essay on all of the topics, which topic is most interesting and unique? Are any to risqué, sad, or strange?

Sex and The City - How it made me realize the strength of all women, including myself.
My Dad - How hard he works for me, and how much I regret I not recognizing his hard work.
Learning to Love Myself - My journey to self-love
Juggling - How learning to juggle at a young age motivated me to try new things and made me realize that I could do anything

Absolutely the “Juggling” essay.
Focus on writing about specific instances to show why you like juggling / how you became interested in it. Do not discuss that it taught you “I can do anything.”

Thanks for the input and advice! But why should I exclude the “I can do anything?” Too cheesy? It’s just that in reality, that is essentially what it taught me. I just feel as though only talking about juggling may be a bit, I don’t know, weird and/or boring? Please elaborate if you could!

Bump

I think because it’s a huge leap from juggling to curing cancer or solving the problems in the Mid East.

The reality is that you can’t do anything. You, like all of us, have limitations.

You can talk about the value of persistence, of not giving up on yourself, of trying new things and breaking out of your comfort zone, about straying off the beaten path… there’s a lot you could take from this topic.

How about drafting out your top two and see which one resonates with you.
