Which essay to send?

<p>Hey guys, I’ve written two essays that I am considering submitting to USC, both talking about an experience that is important to me.</p>

<p>One describes the competitive medical program I am participating in
The other talks about living with a disabled parent(rheumatoid arthritis).</p>

<p>If both are written just as well, does it make much of a difference which one I send? My GPA is on the lower scale for USC so I want to make sure I absolutely nail the essay.</p>

Do you have an adult trusted friend who could read them? Perhaps you need another point of view. I always suggest reading the essay aloud. You will be surprised how certain paragraphs stand out in need of editing. </p>

<p>Without seeing these essays it is difficult for us to guess which would be the better choice. I am guessing the medical program MIGHT be a good selection since you indicate it is not only competitive, but also unusual.</p>
