which essay type would be better?

an essay that highlights my strengths

or

an essay that shows change from doing nothing to becoming hard working

or

an essay that talks about overcoming an obstacle

bump 10words…

the third one? believe me, it’s actually extremely hard to write one good essay on a good idea. So try write one for each and see which one is better.

k thank you

How about me? I’m trying to do an abstract thing where I talk about something really commonplace but then expand it to talk about my achievements. Does that still fall under the category of bad essays that restate the transcript/resume?

easy thread hijacker lol, but seriously, Biggie, a good essay needs to tie in with some of your transcript/resume and don’t be too broad.

I would try writing an essay for both the second and third topic and then just seeing which turns out better. Overcoming obstacles always seems to be a great topic, but I think it might be harder to write than an essay about a change in viewpoint. Either way, good luck.
