Which exams should I not take?

If I take AP exams for all the classes I am taking this year, I will be taking 9 AP exams :O

-Physics B
-Physics C: Mech
-Physics C: E&M
-USH
-Lang
-Bio
-Enviro
-Human Geo
-Stats

Is this possible? I am an above-average student, but is it feasible for one with even a 2360 SAT to do well on this many exams? If any of these are not accepted for credit at most colleges, that would be a good starting point to narrow them down.

Biology is something I will have to take. I’m actually self-studying it since it’s not offered at my school, because since it is my prospective major I would like to show my commitment to it.

If you want to narrow it down drop one or more out of environmental science, human geography, or statistics. Physics B is redundant if you have physics C.

Look at the AP credit charts for colleges you are considering to see which ones are accepted.

Definately take out Physics B

Yeah, I would drop either Physics B, or both Physics C exams. If you’re fluent in calculus, you should be able to handle Physics C, and dropping B might be a good idea.

My second choice to drop might be APUSH…not sure how useful it’ll be for a bio major.

I’d actually keep in APUSH! I’m a biology major and 5 on that helped me out with a lot of general education requirements.

On the other hand, although I loved the class, Human Geography isn’t really accepted at many colleges at all. I’m assuming that you’ll be applying to Ivies and what not, so I’d look at their policies and see which tests are accepted.
I don’t know about Evr Science, but it might not really be accepted in general as well.

Also, some you can get a partial refund and drop tests after you get notifications from colleges. I did that and dropped my AP Lit test when I found out my AP Lang test would give me the same equivalency in college credit. :)
