I recently applied to graduate schools for Fall 2012 for my Ph.D in bioengineering. So far, I have been accepted to Clemson’s Ph.D program and WPI’s Ph.D program.

If I didn’t get money from either school (for comparison), which school do you think would be better for finding jobs afterwards? I plan to work in the Northeast and want to concentrate my graduate studies in tissue engineering.

WPI seems to be very well known in all engineering fields, but I think their bioengineering department is fairly new. It also seems to be a good school if you stay in the northeast.

Clemson, however, is ranked something like #43 in US News and World Report and has a pretty refined bioengineering program.

Let me know what you think!
