Which is better for psychology/pre-med? Emory, Georgetown, or Boston College?

I am interested in becoming a psychiatrist and want to do a pre-med track as an undergrad. and major in psychology. Which school would be the best for that? (Take into account that I want a school that is ethnically and racially diverse.)

All of those schools are good. It doesn’t really matter where you do the pre-med track for getting into medical school (although you’ll have a better background in the sciences if you go to a top university). In the end you just need a high GPA and good MCATs to be considered. I went to Emory and have friends that got into various medical schools including Harvard. I would consider which city you like the most. Emory has a lot of diversity. I don’t specifically know about the other schools, but I imagine Georgetown has more international diversity since it is in DC. Also, the kids I know who went to Georgetown were all really into politics, while at Emory most of my friends were politically apathetic. Boston has fewer minorities than most other big American cities. Also, Boston College gets bad ratings from the Princeton Review on race/class interaction and on being LGBT friendly (9th and 10th worst among colleges).

Emory is known for their pre-med program…they have strong connection with CDC and the various medical programs in ga

The students here are politically apathetic in the most commonly used context, but most of the students are quite liberal and many are activists of sorts, but moreso for certain causes than a large political goal. Many grass-roots things happening here. Not to mention all the involvement with Tibet and other issues puts Emory in the middle of some politically hot or relevant issues.

I agree with JasonGom. Emory is very well known for its medical program as well as its resources for pre-med students. With the CDC basically on campus there are many research opportunities.
