Your SAT and ACT score are pretty much the same. This is my personal opinion, but the ACT reading is significantly easier than the SAT reading comprehension. I suggest that you get Barron’s ACT 36 and use that for time management skills. I would also suggest that you get the Real ACT Prep Guide, and use it for practice tests, as they all come from real ACT tests.
Yeah agree with @bben15 that both of your scores on the ACT and SAT are similar. In which test do you feel comfortable?
The reading of the ACT is easier than the SAT if you got low score in CR. Are you a junior?
My son had the same issues on the ACT and SAT reading. I found the SAT Black Book to be really great for the SAT reading. He ultimately took the ACT and used the ACT watch for time management. Also, if you decide on the ACT, the passage types are in the same order every time. If you have one type of passage which gives you trouble and takes a bit longer (for my son it was the first), do it last. If you need to guess at least it will be on your relatively weak section and you will have done the easier (for you) questions. Seriously think about the watch.
I felt the SAT was a hectic test. Too Long.
I’ll go for the ACT. I have 10 more real tests available. For the SAT I’m down to 0.
Any advice on the new essay starting this Fall? @baxter I’ll look into the watch. Thanks
