<p>i think 2j is easier. you do about 1/2 matrix algebra (easy and fun) and the other 1/2 on infinite series. it basically says that some function can be approximated by various methods instead of directly solving for it. (the wiki on it has a good explaination… and the gif is really helpful.)</p>
<p>i dont remember what was in 2e because i took it at a junior college where 2e and 2d are combined. i remember not liking it. did you learn curl, div, and grad in 2d? cause you’ll learn that.</p>
<p>I believe 2E only covers one chapter, chapter 15, in Smith&Minton. You can look up the syllabus on the math department website.</p>
