Which is harder to get in: OOS UC's or Ivies?

<p>It might be easier to get into UC’s…if you’re rich, but that basically applies to all colleges that take students who buy their way in.</p>

<p>Ivies are much tougher, especially compared to the lower UCs.</p>

<p>Ivies are much harder especially considering the recent budget issues in the california system (they need more OOS students for the higher tuition)</p>

<p>UCs are organized to admit several hundred transfers each year, Ivies are not. Several hundred vs. under 50.</p>

<p>They’ll want your money at Berkeley, they just had to cut rugby, lacrosse, and baseball this past fall. However, it is still competitive, you need at least a 3.9 UW to get into UCLA or Cal. The other UCs are definitely not nearly as competitive.</p>

<p>Not even that close, esp. with the financial situation for UC’s, Ivies are definitely harder to get into.</p>
