Which is more practical as a college course: Business Economics or Accountancy?

I am currently weighing these two choices. At first, I want to take Accountancy; however, seeing that many business students would already be taking Accountancy, I want to explore a different path. I know both courses are dealt on analytics in business. However, I am having a hard time choosing which would be more practical, in-demand, and extensive in terms of business practice. Thank you!

Would you want to become a CPA? Often, that’s the end goal of accounting degrees.

Neither is necessarily more practical than the other. An accounting/accountancy major leads directly into a professional field (accounting), whereas business economics doesn’t. But you can do a lot of things with either.

Which one is more interesting to you?
