Im a senior in high school and just startedd the dreadful college application process…I will hopefully attend Columbia University Law School but right now I have no idea which school to begin with. I do not at all have the grades to get accepted into the school now but I will. So which school looks better on my application or does it matter?

Ohio State University
Howard University
Temple University
Hampton University
Pace University
Lock Haven University
West Virginia University

It depends on what you’re majoring in. Are you just trying for pre-law, or taking a buisness major or political science to build yourself up before law school?

Don’t worry about law school right now. Focus on finding a college or university where you will be challenged, find academic success, broaden your experiences, make life-changing friends…and then worry about getting into law school. Ultimately, the name of the college on the application doesn’t matter nearly so much as what you did with the opportunities you were provided-just like in high school. The only ‘tip’ here is that you have a better chance of forming close personal relationships with faculty (who write your letters of recommendation) in smaller programs and at smaller schools. Try not to be the annonymous face in the back of the auditorium.
