Which is your actual GPA when you graduate?

So I’m double majoring, and I seem to have 3 different GPAs: one for MCB, one for psych, and one for UC GPA.

Which one counts for grad school? And if you were to graduate with distinction/honors, which GPA do they look at? If my GPA is a 3.8 would that mean I can graduate with honors in MCB & psych? or is it distinction in the college of L&S??

Thanks :D

What do you mean by “grad school”?

PhD programs probably look at your record holistically, with emphasis on courses relevant to your PhD major.

Medical schools recalculate GPAs, looking at overall and biology/chemistry/physics/math GPAs, counting courses at all colleges.

Law schools recalculate GPAs, looking at overall GPA, counting courses at all colleges.

But your Berkeley transcript will record your overall UC GPA as calculated by Berkeley (UC GPA will include grades from courses taken at other UCs).
