In 100 words or less, if you could choose to attend any Ivy League school (undergraduate), which would you choose and why?
Background Info:
Athletic recruit - non-helmet sport
Financial Aid is not a factor
Primary interest - decision sciences / behavioral economics / psychology / sociology with intention to go to Law School after undergrad
It’s all about what type of school is a good fit for you. All of the Ivies have excellent academics and a degree from any of them will be a plus on your law school applications.
Plus wouldn’t some of your decision be affected by which school’s coach will support you? Or want you the most (ie they project you to be an impact player)?
For this exercise, assume all 8 coaches would support the application.
It is an individual sport (timed, for example) and the athlete is nationally ranked. Academic pre-reads are all positive.
I appreciate the feedback - someone I know well (not me) is in this situation and is wrestling with the decision (obviously a good problem to have). Even narrowing to 5 schools for OVs is not straightforward.
So, they have a positive pre read from all 8 schools, they like all 8 coaches and teams, and they are fine living in NYC (Columbia) or in the middle of nowhere(Dartmouth)?
